The last few weeks in Michigan have been wet, to say the least. Our emergency service line has been ringing non-stop and our team is working around the clock. Do you know what to do at the first sign of a water leak?

1) Identify the source- where is the water coming from?

 -Is it the sump-pump, a broken pipe, or is there water coming in from your basement windows?  

Why does this matter? 

Insurances companies put each loss in a different type of category so knowing the cause is vital when confirming if a service is covered or not which brings us to point # 2. 

2) Know your insurance policy- verify your coverage before you request a service team otherwise you may be stuck with a big bill at the end.
